We had the wonderful experience of having our whole family gather with us for the Christmas holiday. Todd, Heather, Brienna, Breydon and Bethany came from Washington; Mic, Libby and Kate joined us from their home in Ogden, UT; Brandon and Colleen Lofthouse joined us Friday night and Saturday morning from Boise; Richard, Becca and Nike flew in from Indiana; Nathan, Eve, and children, Lydia, Anna, Sam and Sarah came from California; Mistie and her husband, Ben Barfus and five children, Emma, Eliza, Rachel, Brigham and Hazel, made the grueling 16 hour trip from southeast AZ; Jenny and Matthew Davis came up from Pleasant Grove, UT; and Matthew drove up to join his wife, Nikki, and new baby, Lynlee, who had flown up earlier from AZ.
We met at the Bountiful Temple on Friday night, to celebrate Marcus' 39th birthday, by going to the temple to do his endowment.
Sleeping 30+ people at our home was a real party and waiting for Santa with 15 grandchildren is quite exciting.
Christmas on Sunday morning was really special, especially with my own children to sing with us in the ward choir.
We have been truely blessed this year as a family. We cherish friends and family and our membership in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Happy New Year 2011

The holiday bustle is over and I can finally sit down and reminisce over the events of 1020. Our family has been greatly blessed through the ups and downs of daily life. We are often reminded that this mortal existence is just part of the whole of eternity, which makes us more and more committed to follow the Savior that we might be worthy to be with Him and our Father in Heaven when we leave this life.
Boyd & Bonnie are still living in North Ogden, UT. We have been blessed with two new granddaughters this year. Sarah Lucinda Shelton was born to Nathan and Eve Shelton in California and son, Richard and Becca Shelton had their first child, Nicole Keana Jean Shelton, in Indianapolis, IN.
In Nov. we celebrated the life of our son, Marcus, 38, who passed away in Boise, ID. We appreciate his wonderful wife of fifteen years, Colleen Mahoney Shelton. We cherish the time we had with him and the important place he holds in our family.
Our daughter, Jenny, married her sweetheart, Matthew Davis, on Dec. 29, 2010, in the Mt. Timpanogus Temple. We had a wonderful day with family and friends despite the weather.
